This year I have been focused a lot of self-care. The kind of self-care that forces me to talk better to myself and take care of not only my body but my mind. Because of my new goals, I have read one self-help book this year and am on my second. (Of course I have read more than that but I’m only referring to proclaimed self-help books specifically.) My word for the year even has been “grace”. I chose this word because I wanted to give myself grace for all the things I cannot control and just overall not get stressed out about daily life. For me this is a huge win. I am one of those overachievers that tend to make life hard on themselves because I can never get myself to stop working.
